Greetings!  My name is Catherine Hidalgo, a proud native of Arizona and owner of A Gentle Solution Laser by Sultry Skin. 

As far back as I remember, I’ve been fascinated with the beauty industry. I have my mother to thank for this. She took so much pride in taking care of herself – always buying the latest and greatest products. And of course, I had to try them out on myself. As she grew older, I would always hear people comment and compliment her on her skin. My mom is now in her 80’s and she is as beautiful as ever. I think one small yet extraordinary piece of advice she gave me that sticks with me to this day is: Stay out of the sun, and protect your skin, which is no easy task here in AZ! Seeing my mother today she represent the true meaning of aging gracefully.

We cannot stop the aging process, nor would I want to. Now, as a middle-aged woman, I believe aging is an honor and privilege and we should embrace it… we’ve earned it. I also feel just as strongly about making people feel beautiful no matter the age or circumstances, because when people feel good about themselves it brings out the best in them.

Now a little about my business.  A Gentle Solution Laser has been around for 25+ years. It was one of the first laser hair removal businesses in the state. It was started by an amazing woman whom I call my friend and mentor Nancy Jaurez. We now work together and continue to treat our amazing clients as well as generations of families. Sultry Skin joined my laser family because not only am I a certified laser technician, I am also a licensed Aesthetician. My love for laser and skin came together to birth….A Gentle Solution Laser by Sultry skin.

With age comes wisdom and clarity of who we are and what we want. It also brings a level of respect and appreciation for the beauty that is naturally within us. I would be honored to help you navigate through this journey called ageing.
